Wendlo Designs: Quilting Designs & More

Wendlo, spelled backwards are the words old & new. Our business has developed over the years because we admire old and vintage textiles and crafts and want to save them by creating new uses for them, or alternative ways to provide a personal touch to a craft. We are now working on designs for toys ready to be customized by you.

We create quilting designs for machine and hand quilters. Some have hidden (or not so hidden) messages to add a special touch, and others were designed with family and friends as our inspiration. We will also create custom designs to your specifications and most designs can also be formatted for embroidery machines.

We find and collect vintage linens and fabric from estate sales, auctions and antique stores. We remake them either by keeping them completely intact and presenting in new ways or by taking what can be saved and making it into something that is used again.

In 2009 we will be providing a new line of personalized toys which you can purchase completely made or let us provide some components and you finish it or you can just buy the pattern and make it yourself.
